The Institute for Social Policy “Musine Kokalari” (IPS-MK) has published, through a press release, the third issue of the “Social and Democratic Monitor” regarding the management of the Covid-19 pandemic by state and public institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
In this issue, you can read the analysis of the Law on the Prevention and Combatting of the COVID-19 Pandemic and its implementation on the ground, followed by the proposals stemming from the Economic Recovery Law – including a detailed analysis of the proposal for the withdrawal of 10% of pension savings, as well as the economic recovery plan, with a particular focus on the amount allocated for wage subsidies in the private sector.
Our analysis will continue with the way the process of resuming education in the Republic of Kosovo has been planned, the government’s support for non-majority communities, and statistical data regarding deaths caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
