The Academy for Public and Social Policies Has Concluded

Around thirty young people from diverse social, professional, gender, and ethnic backgrounds—all promising to spread progressive and valuable ideas and attitudes in the public sphere.

Over the course of five days, they attended and engaged in more than ten lectures and workshops led by professors, specialists, and activists from Kosovo, Albania, Serbia, France, Denmark, and others. The topics covered included social history, nationhood, nationalism and citizenship, environment and climate change, political ideologies, social equality and inclusion, human rights and socio-economic rights, as well as public and social policies.

We express our gratitude and thanks to all the lecturers for their dedication and professionalism. Special thanks to the participants for their engagement, substantive discussions, and expressed interest.

Organized annually by the Musine Kokalari Institute for Social Policies with the support of the Olof Palme International Center, the Academy for Social and Public Policies embodies theoretical education and practical training grounded in progressive ideas about social values.
