The Institute for Social Policies ‘Musine Kokalari,’ with the support of the Community Development Fund – CDF, within the framework of the project ‘HumanRightivism,’ has published the report titled: “Hydropower Plants for Private Profit to the Detriment of the Public Environment” as part of the implementation of the project “Social Impact of Hydropower Plants in Our Society”.
The report presents research on issues related to the issuance of permits for hydropower plants, citizen participation in decision-making according to the law, the promises and implementation by investors, the impact of hydropower plants on the environment and agriculture, and more.
