The Institute for Social Policy Musine Kokalari surveyed the citizens of Kosovo:
“If there were no consequences at your workplace (such as contract termination or job loss) and if the government financially supported parental leave, do you believe that fathers should take 4 to 6 months of parental leave and stay at home during the first year of their child’s life?”
The question was posed to understand the general attitude of citizens regarding whether fathers should be entitled to parental leave. The phrasing of the question was designed to remove financial and professional concerns in order to better grasp opinions about paternity leave.
This brief publication presents citizens’ responses in tabular form, considering gender, marital status, employment, education, age, residence, personal income, and household income.
