Increasing youth activism and influence in politics through regional cooperation

Increasing youth activism and influence in politics through regional cooperation was the theme of the first module of the fourth generation of the regional academy “Progressive Politics in Western Balkans” – PROGWeB in Belgrade, where Fjolla Muçaj and Dardan Bujupi from the Musine Kokalari Institute for Social Policies participated as a partner organization from Kosovo.

The goal of PROGWeB is to increase youth activism and influence in politics by building and strengthening the capacities of various organizations and fostering regional cooperation. Participants in this module also came from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.

During the upcoming months, the participants will write two essays and prepare six projects on the theme “Youth in Politics”.

PROGWeB is supported by the Olof Palme International Center (OPIC) and the Centre Party International Foundation (CIS), in cooperation with the Boris Divkovic Foundation (BDF), Forum of Left Initiative (FLI), Centre of Modern Skills, Progress Institute for Social Democracy (PROGRESS), Liberal Institute Skopje (LIS), Institute for Social Policy “Musine Kokalari” (IPSMK), and Qemal Stafa Foundation (QSF).
