This is a unique opportunity to gain the knowledge, tools, and connections needed to produce impactful journalism and advocate for workers&#8217; rights in the region.<\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The workshop is organised by <strong>Institute for Social Policy Musine Kokalari<\/strong> and <strong>Centre for the Politics of Emancipation<\/strong> within the <a href=\"https:\/\/decentworkbalkans.com\/\">Decent Work Balkans<\/a> platform. <\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><b>Why this Workshop?<\/b><\/p>\n\n<p>In post-transition economies, workers face significant socio-economic challenges that are often underreported. We&#8217;ve noticed a gap in media coverage, where narratives can sometimes miss the structural injustices at play. This workshop aims to fill that gap by empowering you with the skills to contextualize workers&#8217; struggles, highlight their rights, and present a more complete picture to the public.<\/p>\n\n<p>By participating, you will contribute to a greater public understanding of workers&#8217; rights, foster collaboration between journalists, civil society and trade unions, and increase the number of labor-focused stories across the region.<\/p>\n\n<p><b>What You Will Learn<\/b><\/p>\n\n<p>Our two-day online workshops are designed to build your capacity in key areas of labor reporting. The curriculum will be led by experienced investigative journalists and labor rights experts from across the Western Balkans, offering diverse perspectives and practical insights.
