{"id":7068,"date":"2025-07-17T08:04:32","date_gmt":"2025-07-17T08:04:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musineinstitute.org\/call-for-applications-2\/"},"modified":"2025-07-17T08:04:32","modified_gmt":"2025-07-17T08:04:32","slug":"call-for-applications-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musineinstitute.org\/en\/call-for-applications-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Applications"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Musine Kokalari Academy for Social and Public Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The Institute for Social Policies \u201cMusine Kokalari\u201d opens a call for applications to participate in the Academy for Social and Public Policy, which will be held at the &#8216;Nartel&#8217; hotel in Pristina (Kosovo) <strong>from September 27 to October 1, 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The overall goal of the Academy is to educate young people with progressive ideas about social values such as social justice, anti-discrimination, citizenship, freedom of expression and religion, secularism, feminism, workers\u2019 rights, and more.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Academy\u2019s program includes theoretical lectures and practical training, screenings of films, documentaries, and exhibitions on social, historical, and political issues in Kosovo and the region.<\/p>\n\n<p>Throughout the week, participants will have the opportunity to attend modules led by local, regional, and international lecturers, researchers, experts, and educators.<\/p>\n\n<p>The curriculum includes topics such as: the social history of the Balkans and myths in historiography, theories of Balkan nationalisms, citizenship after the breakup of Yugoslavia, ideological schools of historical thought in Kosovo, the relationship between religion and national identities, feminism and intersectionality theory, trade unionism and the welfare state, etc.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Academy is organized with the support of the &#8220;Olaf Palme Center&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p>All participation expenses will be covered by the Institute, including:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Travel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lecture costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>During the Academy, two languages will be used: Albanian and Serbian, with interpreters for both.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Academy will be held in compliance with COVID-19 safety measures.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Who can apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The Academy will select 20 candidates.
