The lists submitted on Saturday evening show that most political parties have ensured compliance only with the minimal threshold set strictly by the General Elections Law, rather than fully implementing Law No. 05\/L-020 on Gender Equality.<\/p>\n\n<p>For the Institute for Social Policies \u201cMusine Kokalari,\u201d the failure to respect legislation that promotes gender equality indicates that political parties\u2014regardless of which one gains the mandate to lead the country\u2014will not place women equally in governance.
