We focus on conceptualizing and promoting a more just and equal society, which, by concentrating on the future, seeks to overcome divisions, reduce gaps, and establish shared public values based on citizenship, shared by all and collectively embraced.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this regard, the Institute for Social Policies \u201cMusine Kokalari\u201d announces a job vacancy for:<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 One (1) financial officer who will be engaged full-time (09:00 AM \u2013 5:00 PM) as part of the staff at the Institute for Social Policies &#8220;Musine Kokalari&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Two (2) research assistants who will be engaged full-time (09:00 AM \u2013 5:00 PM) as part of the staff at the Institute for Social Policies &#8220;Musine Kokalari&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>POSITION: FINANCIAL OFFICER (1 POSITION, 100% FULL-TIME)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Workplace:<\/strong> Street B, Residio 5, Entrance B, No. 15-1, Nd\u00ebrtuesi Dervisholli \u2013 10 000, Prishtina \u2013 Republic of Kosovo<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>1. Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Implements the Financial Manual of IPS MK;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Prepares employment contracts for staff, external collaborators, interns, and volunteers;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Prepares and reviews financial statements and other required reports;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Conducts financial and budget planning;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Performs detailed monitoring of monthly revenues and expenses;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Monitors and verifies the recording of receipts and payments by account;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Archives all financial documents in accordance with the regulations and this financial manual;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Assists the Financial Director in the administration of IPS MK\u2019s finances;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Provides monthly reports to the Executive Director, donors, Tax Administration, and the Office for NGOs;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>2. Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 University degree from the Faculty of Economics \u2013 Department of Finance and Accounting;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a financial officer;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Knowledge of accounting software \/ QuickBooks;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Skills in planning, budgeting, and analysis;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Computer skills in MS Word and Excel;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Proficiency in spoken and written English \u2013 mandatory;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Ability to provide guidance and bring people together using strong interpersonal skills;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Proven ability to work in a team, plan effectively, and solve problems.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Certified accountant \u2013 an advantage;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Work experience in NGOs or international organizations \u2013 an advantage;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Other languages \u2013 an advantage;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>POSITION: RESEARCH ASSISTANT (2 POSITIONS, 100% FULL-TIME)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>1. Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Good knowledge of the governance system and legislation related to the work of the Assembly of Kosovo<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Good knowledge of issues related to economic, social, and political matters;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Excellent logistical, organizational, communication, and representation skills;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Proven skills in research assistance;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Skills in writing and drafting reports, statements, etc.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Establish regular communication with officials of the Assembly Administration, staff of parliamentary groups, as well as partner organizations and institutions (both local and international);<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Monitoring parliamentary committee meetings and plenary sessions of the Assembly and preparing summary reports;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Monitoring publications of specialized institutes (think tanks) and other local and international organizations and institutions.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Assist the Project Coordinator in planning and managing daily tasks;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Assist in preparing promotional and advocacy campaigns for the project;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u2022 Drafting analytical reports for the public based on research findings and addressing specific recommendations related to these findings;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Performing other tasks within the project, as instructed by the Project Coordinator.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>2. Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Second-year student at the Faculty of Economics, Political Science, Sociology, or Law<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 University degree from the Faculty of Economics, Political Science, Sociology, or Law.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a researcher;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Computer skills in MS Word and Excel;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Proficiency in spoken and written English \u2013 mandatory;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Ability to provide guidance and bring people together using strong interpersonal skills;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Proven ability to work in a team, plan effectively, and solve problems.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Work experience in NGOs or international organizations \u2013 an advantage;<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2022 Other languages \u2013 an advantage;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>IPS &#8220;Musine Kokalari&#8221;<\/strong> offers equal employment opportunities to all citizens of Kosovo and welcomes applications from all interested individuals from all communities in Kosovo.
